The rooms were very nice and clean so was the pool

Excellent value for money
Nice swimming pool on the sixth floor which didn't get too busy. Handy location - walking distance to the beach and central Patong. Situated next to a market which offered a lot of choice for cheap food although it meant that you needed industrial grade ear plugs if you wanted to sleep before midnight. Nice restaurant, with friendly staff. Room very clean with free WiFi and safe. WiFi worked perfectly. Room was very clean and the shower worked fine. There was a small balcony with a chair and table if you wanted a smoke. For the price I paid I was expecting something a bit more downmarket.
The reception staff were a little on the frosty side but I suppose they have a lot to put up with. On arrival, you get told to take a picture of a sheet of paper showing the charges that will be payable if you damage anything e.g. towel, ashtray etc. This was a bit worrying as I had read one review about someone being charged for a damaged towel. I decided to buy my own towel and use that instead just in case. However, I later found out that a lot of hotels in the area do this. On checking out I had no problems and was not charged for anything.
